About Orina

Corporate strategy for businesses that intend to last

Orina is a business consulting and corporate strategy firm working with promoters, family businesses, MSMEs, manufacturers and cooperatives across Gujarat. We work with people who have to make decisions that will still look right in ten years.

Who we are

We work beside owners, not above them.

Traditional consulting hands over a document and leaves. That model works when the problem is already understood. It fails when the real question is which problem to solve first.

We help entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, MSMEs, cooperatives, healthcare institutions, manufacturers and growing enterprises work through complex decisions using financial analysis, market research, operational review and strategic planning.

Our role is closer to a long-term strategic partner than a supplier. We start by understanding the vision, the operation, the financial position and the industry. Then we find the root cause rather than the symptom, and we stay involved while the fix is implemented. Recommendations that nobody executes are worthless.

Why we exist

Most businesses do not fail suddenly.

They drift. A margin slips for three years. A competitor quietly doubles capacity. A subsidy window closes unnoticed. By the time it shows in the annual accounts, the cheap options are gone.

Orina was founded on a specific observation: the businesses that struggle are rarely badly run. They are usually run by people who are too busy running them to step back. Large companies solve this with a full-time strategy team. An MSME or a family business cannot justify that cost, so the thinking simply does not happen.

We exist to fill that gap. Not to replace the owner's judgement, but to give it better information to work with.

Our vision

Building businesses that thrive for generations.

Every business can create lasting value. But long-term success is not decided by this year's profit. It is decided by the quality of the choices made along the way.

Every organisation meets difficulty. Some of it is operational, some financial, and some arrives from outside: changing markets, new technology, government policy, global trade, or a competitor who moved first. Our aim is to become India's most trusted corporate strategy and business transformation firm by helping owners meet those moments with confidence rather than guesswork.

Our mission

Every engagement answers the questions that matter

Our work does not stop at naming the problem. We look at why it exists, what it is costing, and what specifically should be done about it.

  • Is the business financially healthy?
  • Is the current business model still sustainable?
  • Which products, customers or divisions create the most value?
  • Where should the next investment go?
  • Which government policies and incentives create opportunity or risk?
  • How do GST, customs duty, anti-dumping duty, CVD and FTA changes hit our margin?
  • How are competitors changing, and how should we respond?
  • Should we expand, diversify, restructure, merge, acquire or exit?
  • What should the roadmap look like over three, five and ten years?

The goal is simple: turn information into strategy, strategy into action, and action into results you can measure.

Our purpose

Decide early, while the options are still cheap.

We exist to help businesses act before a difficulty becomes a crisis, and before an opportunity quietly closes. Planning should never rest on assumptions. Every recommendation we make is supported by financial analysis, market research, industry data, policy review and practical experience.

We do not write reports that describe the past. We write roadmaps that shape what happens next. Every document we produce is built to be a decision-making tool, not a record.

What we hold to

Five things we will not trade away

Integrity

We tell owners what we actually think, including when it is not what they hoped to hear. Every assumption we use is written down so you can check it.

Excellence

Work is delivered properly, in writing, on time. A report that is nearly right is worse than no report at all.

Innovation

Practical and forward-looking solutions, not theory. If a recommendation cannot survive the factory floor, it is not a recommendation.

Partnership

We work as a long-term strategic partner rather than a supplier of documents. That means staying past the point where the invoice is paid.

Value creation

Success is measured by what changes in the business, not by the number of pages we produce.
